Dan and I first worked together back at university to create a set of fashion photos, so we already knew how well we worked together. So when he asked me to create a brand identity for his new wedding photography business, it was a no brainer for the two of us to collaborate again.
Together, we worked to create a concept that we were both happy with, creating a brand that has a classic feel. Dan and I both wanted the photography to be central to the brand. So the logo and other elements were designed to work in conjunction and not overpower the photography.
As photography is the product here, it needs to be the main focus of the brand. Utilising large, beautifully composed images with the logo placed appropriately in an area of white space helps to portray the quality of product that the customers are receiving.
